How much is the dismissal compensation?

The compensation for collective dismissal, extinction of the job position or dismissal for unsuitability (article 366 of the Portuguese Labour Code).

Please note: this compensation does not apply to dismissal with just cause (no compensation) nor to termination during the probation period (no compensation either). It is the most common mistake — first confirm which situation applies to you.
